Neon Tree Dragon

Although it's easier to say "Neon Tree Dragon" their proper name is "Japalura Splendida". These lizards are from the temperate jungles of Southeast China. They are easily handled although care should be given with their tail as it could fall off and will not re-grow. They stay fairly small and are fairly easy to care for.

Fat Tail Gecko

Fat-Tailed Gecko

The Fat-Tailed Gecko is an African native and is a close relative of the Leopard Gecko. Their fat tail has evolved this way to store a reserve of fat for energy. If their habitat conditions are maintained properly they can live as long as 18 years.

The Blue-Tailed Skink can be found natively in several countries such as Australia and Indonesia. Their bright blue tail serves a purpose in the wild. It will often wiggle its bright tail to distract predators. They can drop their tail if they are attacked and make a fast get-away. These lizards like to burrow and can climb very well.

Dumpy Tree Frog

These make excellent beginner frog pets. They don't mind being handled which makes them great for children. They love mealtime and can become very active when stalking their insect meal. Their "Dumpy" name is given to them because of their appearance. Their original name is the "White's Tree frog".

This is a "Red-Sided Skink" and they are native to Southern Africa. During mating season the Males develop bright red stripes down their sides which is why they have the name "Red-Sided". These lizards love to dig and they can run very fast. They only grow to about 8 inches in length.
